Schneetag 2015
Aspen Highlands, Aspen CO

Much like the snow days of childhood, Schneetag, a German word for snow day, is all about having fun in the snow. Schneetag in Aspen and Snowmass is an event that is held during the closing day festivities of one of the local hills. Over the years, this silly event has been held at Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, and at Snowmass Mountain. No matter the hill, Schneetag involves teams of four, a questionably-engineered watercraft, and a freezing cold pool of water. Each team performs a skit before launching their craft down a short slope and into the pool with the hopes that both craft and the team member piloting the craft safely make it across the pond. Schneetag is an event that offers plenty of laughs, which is the perfect way to close out the ski season.
